From the 1st to the 4th of September , the Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism held its annual symposium in Lyon- France. Labsystems Diagnostics used this opportunity to launch its new kit dedicated to the Expanded Screening: NeoMass AAAC. Our Booth was visited by more than 35 potential users who confirm the high interest in our NeoMass AAAC: A quantitative determination of carnitine, acylcarnitine and amino acids concentrations in newborn dried blood spot specimens. These quantitative determination of analytes along with ratios between specific analyte concentrations can be used to aid in the detection of genetic metabolic diseases such as aminoacidopathies, fatty acid oxidation disoders and organic acidurias. From 29 markers offered by NeoMass AAAC approximately 40 diseases can be screened in the newborn.Team spirit and involvement of each Labsystems Diagnostics' departments-sales, marketing, R&D, communication- were the key of the success of NeoMass AAAC launch.
