We recently participated in the First International Child Health Summit, Kerala on 25-26th Feb in Trivandrum. The event was organised by Department of Health & Family welfare, Govt. of Kerala. The state government has been at the forefront in the implementation of child friendly policies, including antenatal care, comprehensive new born screening, primary paediatric care, speciality services at Taluka level by virtue of which this symposium was organized. The summit showcased pioneering models in child health interventions from across the globe. We have showcased our new born screening solutions to NHM officials at our stall. The symposium was presided by Dr Ralph Fingerhut, Director of the Swiss New born Screening laboratory, who shared his ideas over global scenario of New born screening and his experiences at NBS lab, Switzerland.
