Overview
The Biocard™ Helicobacter pylori Urease Test is a rapid tablet-based assay for detecting urease activity in gastric or duodenal biopsy specimens. Simply add the tablet to water along with the biopsy or culture sample. If H. pylori is present, urease production raises the pH, triggering a visible color change. Positive results are typically visible within 20–30 minutes.
