Neomass AAAC Plus
Expanded newborn screening panel for the quantitative determination of amino acids, acylcarnitines, and key metabolic markers — all under a unified, non-derivatised protocol for Tandem Mass Spectrometry (MS/MS).

Overview
Labsystems Diagnostics’ Neomass AAAC Plus enables simultaneous analysis of 15 amino acids, 13 acylcarnitines, argininosuccinic acid (ASA), and succinylacetone (SUAC) using a single extraction and injection process. This advanced screening solution simplifies the detection of multiple metabolic disorders while ensuring accuracy, reproducibility, and safety — without the use of toxic reagents.
Applications include the quantitative detection and screening of:
- Amino acid disorders
- Organic acidemias
- Fatty acid oxidation disorders
- Urea cycle disorders (UCDs)
- Tyrosinemia Type I

Features
- Single Protocol Workflow: One extraction and injection for all analytes, including SUAC.
- High Throughput: Measures each sample in 1.5 minutes with the shortest extraction time in its class.
- Wide Diagnostic Coverage: Detects 50 metabolic disorders from a single run.
- Non-Toxic Extraction: Sample preparation without derivatisation using environmentally safe reagents.
- Enhanced Accuracy: Includes three levels of dried blood spot controls spanning the clinically valid range.
- Patented Technology: Enables full detection of Urea Cycle Disorders (UCDs).
- Scalable Efficiency: Kit supports up to 960 tests for high-volume screening laboratories.
Technical Specifications
