Achievements in 2004:

• Trivitron Medical Systems Pvt Ltd ties up with Nihon Kohden Corp, Japan. Trivitron has signed up for the exclusive distribution of Sales and Services in India with Nihon Kohden, Japan for their range of Patient Monitoring, Defibrillator, ECG, EMG, EP and EEG systems. Nihon Kohden is Japan’s leading manufacturer, Developer and Distributor of Medical Electronic Equipment and is committed to quality and reliability.
• Trivitron starts marketing TREK products in India from April 2004. TREK USA, a Diagnostic Systems is a dedicated in microbiology company that offers blood culture, identification and susceptibility technology. TREK has committed a global team of scientists, sales and service professionals to provide better solutions. The VersaTREK Automated Microbial Detection System has been selected as a winner in the 2004 Medical Design Excellence Awards, the premier awards program for the medical technology community.
• Trivitron gets exclusive distribution rights of Sperm Analysers in India. Trivitron has signed an agreement with Medical Electronic Systems Ltd, Israel for the exclusive distribution rights of Sperm Analysers in India.
• Trivitron has recently installed the first Konelab-60, Fully Automated Biochemistry Analyser in India at SRMC, Chennai, the premier Medical Institute in the country. Konelab 60 with Konelab 30 has the capacity to process over 1260 tests/hour.
• Trivitron has been awarded a contract of 4cr INR, towards supply, Installations and Commissioning of Echocardiogram with colour Doppler TransEsophageal Echocardiography Probe and Soft Tissue Mammograpy X ray units, 7 of each from TNMSC. With this most of the Government medical colleges in Tamilnadu, will have one of Trivitron’s imaging Products.
• Trivitron distributes Wolf Light Sources, Wolf Camera Systems and Wolf Documentation Systems all over India.
• Trivitron and Fresenius Medical Care ventured in the Srilankan soil through Apollo Hospitals, Colombo. The Srilankan renal care segment is promising and has a wide potential to grow in the market.
• CUSP 2004 – The Trivitron Stall in CUSP 2004 evoked a good response from delegates who witnessed the demonstration of FREE ANGULAR M MODE, “FAM”, 180 DEG TV/TR Probe, DICOM Transfer and Educational CD’s. SSD 5500SV, SSD 4000 and SSD 3500 Colour Dopplers were on display while SSD 5500 was also available on the OB workshop on 24th September 2004.
